Schmitz uses the environmentally friendly process of powder coating, which requires 
no solvents or pigments containing heavy metals. This process achieves 98.5% use
of the coating and the overspray (remaining 1.5%) is recovered and recycled in a
closed circuit.

The transport packaging is made of paper and corrugated cardboard and is collected
and recycled according to the RESY (recycling) system.

The EDP server is operated exclusively with ecologically friendly electricity obtained
from hydropower plants.
